At 14:28 on May 12, a strong earthquake at 8.0-magnitude hit Wenchuan County, Sichuan (31 degrees north latitude, 103.4 degrees east longitude) which killed 32,477 so far in Sichuan, Shanxi, Gansu, Chongqing, Yunnan and also has caused serious losses of life and property.
On May 13, Forlink appealed to all staffs to contribute for the disaster areas. All employees of Forlink actively took action in the next 3 days. On May 16 , Forlink sent all donations to Red Cross Society of China and the staffs of Forlink who suffered disaster in the Wenchuan earthquake.
