BEIJING - May. 20, 2001 - Forlink Software Corp. Inc. (OTCBB: FRLK), a leading provider of Application Integration Technology (AIT) and services in China, announced recently that it has signed contracts with Beijing Mobile Communication Corp. (www.bmcc.com.cn) to expand BMCC's billing system and general business system. The total investment of this project is about US$ 2 million.
Under the contract, Forlink will assist BMCC (Beijing Mobile Communication Corp.) expand and upgrade its billing system to provide several different billing services for BMCC's different customers' levels and characters. It will help BMCC meet the changing and increasing requirements of mobile communication services.
Under the same contract, Forlink will design and develop a whole new suite of statistics and analysis system for BMCC. This system will not only satisfy the report requirements of all levels of BMCC's subsidiary companies and managers, but also it will provide more useful business data for BMCC's managers to assist their strategy decision-making.
In Jun 1998, Forlink won the contracts from BMCC to help it build the foremost billing system and general business system. By now, it has already run more than two years safely and normally. The users amount that the system supports also increases quickly from initial 80 thousand to 2.6 million. In Mar 2001, to meet the changing and increasing requirements of mobile communication services, BMCC decided to expand and upgrade its billing system and general business system.
