Forlink Signed a $3 Million Contract to Expand the Wireless Billing and Business Operation Support System for Beijing Mobile Communication Corp., BMCC
 
BEIJING - (BUSINESS WIRE) - March 22, 2001 - Forlink Software Corp. Inc. (OTCBB: FRLK - news) today announced that SLAIT (which is in the process of becoming a subsidiary of Forlink) has signed a contract to expand the wireless billing and business operation support system for Beijing Mobile Communication Corp.

The contract amount of this project is about US$3 million. It is expected that more investment will be committed by BMCC in the future to further expand the project. Under the terms of this agreement, SLAIT will supply various software services including wireless billing by second, special discounting to big customers and customized billing services to BMCC's subscribers.

In addition to the billing function, the system also functions as decision support system, which includes customer profiling and usage data analyzing. The decision support system provides marketing information to the operators for services, offerings, and promotions.

BMCC is a subsidiary of China Mobile Communication Corp. which had more than 66 million subscribers at the end of 2000 and is the country's dominant wireless operator, owning 80% of the cellular market share in China. BMCC provides mobile voice service, data services, IP telephony service and multimedia services.
